They told me I would lose my hair. So I cut it to my shoulders. Did it myself in the hospital.
September 2022
I lost my hair!
Well almost all of it.
I had some strands left. I felt so bad for the girl who had to clean the hospital room. I tried to help but there was just so much of it. When I got home my hair dresser shaved off my strands.

I was given a complimentary wig. But that was just too much work! So I went with baseball caps. My friends enjoyed giving me all kinds of hats… it was fun.

I decided to just be proud of my bald head. So I held my shoulders back and head high. Sure I got some looks! But the joke is on them. I did nothing wrong to get sick, and nobody should take for granted their health.

I have hair!
For sure it will fall out with the chemo I am going to get for the transplant. Transplant was postponed so maybe it will grow. Cycle 6 here we go.

Happy Birthday me!
But my head itches so bad. Can’t scratch because my platelets are low. Yup… there goes the hair I now have bald spots? UPDATE all but a patch at the front went again!

It’s only the 12th and it maybe too soon to post! But it’s growing again! I actually have a transparent mustache. I can feel it!

This is my last round of chemo! I am pretty bald! It’s shiny and smooth. Everything I have read says once chemo stops hair starts to grow! Can’t wait

I have signs of growth! Eyebrows are returning, although very thin.

Well… I am happy to share with you that I do have chemo curls on the horizons, but have already come to the conclusion that I am going to lose it all again with transplant.

Well… I can’tbelieve that I liked the texture of my hair when I had less. It’s actually very fuzzy. Not frizzy I mean fuzzy. It’s like hard core old lady hair. Yes, I am older, but 14 months ago my hair was just starting to gray, and the texture was nothing like this.
